The successful Barista candidate will be responsible for creating the ultimate guest experience by creating and serving beverages and/or food items at Peet’s Coffee. Provide excellent service to our guests. Must be able to work with specialty coffee makers and a cash register. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be 17 years old or older to apply. Pays $10 per hour plus tips.

We are currently seeking a Custodian to join our team. Responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance of our main casino floor, offices areas, restrooms and all areas determined by assigned management team while providing our guest with excellent guest service.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsibilities include the following duties but are not limited to:

· Pick up trash and replace with trash liners

· Vacuum, mop, wiping counters, wipe slot machines, and sweep all floor areas

· Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.

· Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.

· Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures

Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner

Position: Full-time

The Heavy Duty Cleaner and Steward position is responsible for in-depth maintenance and sanitation of kitchen equipment including stoves, hoods, ovens and appliances as well as cleanliness of the restaurant area. Previous stewarding, or environmental services experience required. Maintains floors in kitchens, restaurant areas and bars. Good communication skills are necessary as this position is responsible for communicating all issues and concerns to supervisor or kitchen management. Must be 18 or older.

• Clean bathtubs, toilet, and sinks using cloths, mops and brushes

• Strip and make beds. Changing linens which may require to lift up to 50 lbs

• Replenish amenities, linens supplies in guest rooms.

• Ensures assigned areas are kept clean and neat.

• Clean spots and stains on furniture, sheers, drapes, bed skirts, etc.

• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, and windows ledges thoroughly.

• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

• Comply with attendance policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in EVS or Housekeeping in a similar casino/hotel environment preferred but not required.

Boomtown Casino Hotel is hiring for Housekeeping Attendants. Experience a plus, but not required. Housekeeping Attendant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning assigned guest rooms.
  • Respond to guest calls for extra towels and special items.
  • Check to make sure all lamps, TV’s, and radios are in good working condition and report to your supervisor if not.
  • Responsible for contacting Guest Safety for ALL lost and found items located in guest rooms.
  • Report for work on time and as scheduled. Be able to work overtime if needed.

Cashier – Chevron Mini Mart Attendant

Position: Full-time

Shifts: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay increase after 90days and after 180days

Boomtown is looking to hire an Attendant for the Chevron Mini Mart. This position is responsible for stocking the Mini Mart, cashier, janitorial duties, and cashiering. The successful candidate must have the ability to use and maintain a cash drawer, operate a computer, oversee the store and gas pumps, and complete reports as required by management. Must be able to obtain/maintain an Alcohol Awareness card. Must be 21 or older.

The Slot Operations Manager is responsible for performing numerous daily tasks and routines that ensure quality service is provided to all guests. During each shift, the Slot Operations Manager will visit all of the gaming areas and converse with guests and team members to promote and facilitate the highest guest service attainable. Must be able to identify and correct daily operational deficiencies to achieve this service; such as:

 

  • Maintaining all areas of the casino floor and supervise all slot operations in those areas.
  • Monitor and initiate all Slot Department Guest Service initiatives including jackpot response time, introductions, and new Guest sign-ups (with emails and phone numbers).
  • Resolve Guest disputes, machine malfunctions, and team member issues. See each issue through to its conclusion keeping clear communication with Shift Manager.
  • Participate in every aspect of the Slot Operation including initiating/witnessing jackpots, signing up new Guests, and promoting slot events.
  • Slot Operations Manager must report all operational issue(s) to the General Manager. Promote and maintain the highest integrity and premier Guest service. She/he will make sure the Slot Department is operating efficiently and successfully in all areas. Responsible for the development and deployment of advanced analytics of gaming operations.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data on slot operations including customer and competitor products, deployments, themes, configurations, floor layouts, industry trends, etc., and analyzes the gaming performance, marketing methods, and distribution of marketing and sales trends.
  • Responsible for providing performance analysis regarding past and present gaming operations.
  • Responsible for preparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, and translating findings into written reports.
  • Prepares and presents reviews including industry and trend analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports targeting conversions, themes, configurations, floor layouts, etc. as well as measuring results from these recommendations.
  • Measures and assesses data to maximize casino gaming operations.
  • Develop floor optimization plans.
  • Track performance and provide clear direction on how to optimize revenue on the casino floor.
  • Provide recommendations on the optimal deployment of new games, including total number of games.
  • Ensure proper implementation of established policies and procedures pertaining to the Slot Floor.
  • Make sure cleanliness on the floor in their assigned area and go beyond to ensure the overall cleanliness of the whole floor.
  • Ensure currency transaction reporting information is recorded by the end of the shift if applicable.
  • Work with management team to complete daily/weekly schedule, vacation schedule, Team Members’ review and counseling.
  • Capable of pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds; be able to stand or walk around for prolonged periods throughout shift.
  • Maintain professional relationships with slot vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of Title 31 /must adhere to and will apply federal cash reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication skill is a plus to maintain a good rapport between all other departments as well with coworkers within the department.
  • Gaming Regulation Knowledge; be able to when contact NGCB is appropriate.
  • Should be carrying basic tools to perform work on machines if needed. At minimum carrying a screwdriver and a flashlight.
  • Guest Service: Ensure outstanding Guest service by responding promptly to Guest needs and requests for service. Demand the same from every Team Member on the shift. Deliver on commitments.

The Table Games Manager is responsible for performing numerous daily tasks and routines that ensure quality service is provided to all guests. During each shift, the Table Games Manager will visit each table games operational area and converse with guests and team members to promote and facilitate the highest guest service attainable. Must be able to identify and correct daily operational deficiencies to achieve this service; such as:

  • Constantly review staffing needs and recommend increase/decrease in staffing levels to coincide with business demands.
  • Assist in resolving team member issues, responsible for motivating team members to ensure they are providing quality service.
  • Assist supervisors to ensure that the table games operations are being managed in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain an active presence on the casino floor at all times.
  • Works hand in hand with security to ensure the safety of guests and team members.

Responsibilities:

The Table Games Manager will create a friendly work atmosphere and communicate an “OPEN DOOR” policy to all team members to resolve disputes in a timely manner. The Table Games Manager must also exhibit a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members. The Table Games Manager will work toward resolving guest complaints and assist with guest incidents in a helpful, courteous, and constructive manner, and if necessary, review available documentation and/or create documentation concerning the incident. Provide regular communication with all levels of management, provide recommendations on improving the effectiveness of the property table game operations.

Qualifications:

This position is expected to have proficient knowledge of all table game/casino operations. Must have at least 3 years management experience in a gaming operation, be computer proficient, able to work under pressure, have strong interpersonal skills, professional appearance and effective verbal communication skills.
