DESCRIPTION

General Summary: This position is under the general direction of the Security and Surveillance Manager. Maintains surveillance equipment for safeguarding the assets of BCH Reno, and for the safety and protection of guests and staff. In this capacity, provides technical service-related support for the Surveillance Department.

 

Relevant Experience Or Requirements: Assures a high standard of integrity and honesty in all gaming operations and related support services. At the direction of the Security and Surveillance Manager, responds to, troubleshoots and provides resolution to equipment repairs from the Surveillance Department in a timely manner.

 

Capable of wiping, repairing and troubleshooting hard drives. Collaborates on projects with other staff, Integrators, Vendors and Casino Key personnel, as needed, under the direction of the Security and Surveillance Manager. Performs additional tasks as directed by the Security and Surveillance Manager.

 

As needed, performs daily inspection of all Surveillance Network to ensure it is operational. Maintains familiarity with Surveillance equipment part numbers and descriptions and be able to analyze part and equipment needs for surveillance related projects or upgrades. Maintains familiarity with current Gaming Board policies and procedures. Ability to assist in the installation and maintenance of cameras and cable runs throughout the property. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues. Capable of terminating all cable including coaxial and CAT6.

 

Ability to respond to emergency situations during off time. Ability to act as a Surveillance Agent in the event of an emergency.

Line Cook (Salad Station)

Duties and Responsibilities

A Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Some of their key duties and responsibilities include:

– Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

– Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, and appetizers

– Plating prepared foods based on Executive Chef’s guidance

– Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

– Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

– Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

– Creating prep lists

– Responsible for cleaning their prep station and making sure it’s set up properly before the start of their shift.

– Also stock the kitchen as needed.

– Regularly check the food prep and storage areas to ensure they don’t violate any health codes or safety regulations.

 

Skills and Qualifications

A qualified Line Cook needs a strong set of skills that ensure teamwork and organization in the kitchen. Candidates should have the following qualifications:

– At least one year of cooking experience

– Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

– Strong organization and active listening skills

– The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time

The Banquet Sales Manager encompasses all aspects of banquet sales and operation.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to sell, staff, manage and oversee all banquets. This position oversees the entirety of the events and represents the guest throughout. Works closely with Food & Beverage, Marketing and the Hotel departments.

Candidate should possess a clear understanding of Hotel Casino banquet business strategies while identifying marketing opportunities, representing Boomtown in various events, exhibitions and networking are all important aspects of the position.

Other responsibilities will involve developing banquet sales material, menus etc. while creating BEO’s, Function Plans & schedules ensuring timely distribution to guests and departments alike.

Maintain departmental staff, procedures, policies & reports. Ordering, inventory and maintenance on all banquet and convention equipment is essential.

POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial information for internal and external use, and for maintaining and ascertaining the integrity of accounting records for the purpose of compiling, reconciling, adjusting and/or reclassifying accounting and operational information; analyzes and maintains balance sheet accounts, oversees the day-to-day audits of the hotel, casino, food and beverage to ensure accurate information for recording and reporting of revenue and related expenses. – Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

– Manage the month-end and year-end closing process

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Clerk to join our team. The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and train deli staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized work environment

– Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation of products

– Prepare and serve deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods

– Ensure all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards are met

– Monitor sales and budget, and make recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability

We are currently seeking Custodians to join our team. The successful Custodial candidates are responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance of our main casino floor, offices areas, restrooms and all areas determined by assigned management team while providing our guest with excellent guest service.

 

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsibilities include the following duties but are not limited to:

Pick up trash and replace with trash liners

Vacuum, mop, wiping counters, wipe slot machines, and sweep all floor areas

Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.

Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.

Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures

And other duties as assigned.

– Mixing and serving drinks to customers according to their preferences and our bar standards

– Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses and utensils, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the bar

– Checking customers’ IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication

– Handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently

– Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

– Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol

 

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a high-volume establishment
