The Cage Cashier is responsible for performing various cash transactions. The Cage Cashier provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with guests. We are currently seeking a Custodian to join our team. Responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance of our main casino floor, offices areas, restrooms and all areas determined by assigned management team while providing our guest with excellent guest service.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

· Pick up trash and replace with trash liners

· Vacuum, mop, wiping counters, wipe slot machines, and sweep all floor areas

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for responding to Guest and Housekeeping calls for room repairs. This person provides excellent, friendly guest service.

This person may have a beginners skill level or higher for general maintenance, painting, electrical, plumbing, lock, HVAC and tile work. Other duties as assigned by Manager or Director. CPO license preferred.

Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, TV/AV, and general utility and repairs a plus. Prior experience working in hotel preferred but not required. This is a day shift position 7am-3pm, weekends may be required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, handling and directing incoming calls, making hotel reservations and assisting guests with any requests or inquires. Accurately verify, input, and retrieve information with routine difficulty from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests, room rate, etc. Candidate will be responsible for making appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs. Must be able to multi-task, and handle multiple calls at once. Previous phone operating experience is a plus. Must be able to work weekends. Must be 21 and able to obtain/maintain a Gaming Card.

The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise security staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Slot Attendant Shifts:

Day Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm

Position: Full-time

 

The Slot Attendant provides exceptional guest service to our guests and adheres to all Gaming control policies and procedures. Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain a Nevada Gaming card. 

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems at the machine. 
  • Documents those repairs unable to fix at machine level. 
  • Circulates throughout assigned area, maintaining visibility for guests within that area. 
  • Exchanges large denomination bills into requested denomination bills and coins. 
  • Provides information to guests, such as how to play various gaming machines, and general information about the casino and games offered.
  •  Initiates jackpot/fill documentation, either manual or automated and retrieves amount of cash or coin necessary to complete transaction.
  •  Witness/verify both at the gaming machine, on manual documents and jackpots.

Boomtown is looking for a security professional to join our team for the Surveillance Department. The Surveillance Agent has the following duties:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides Guest Safety and loss control of assets by monitoring all gaming and non-gaming casino and adjacent property functions, and by reporting all irregularities to the appropriate personnel, as established by procedures.
  • Maintains a video library of all property-wide activities for periods as prescribe by in-house procedures, and by State directives.
  • Coordinates with the Guest Safety department personnel to provide optimum video coverage of transaction, interactions that require coverage as established by procedures.
  • Notifies the Surveillance Manager of all information and significant observations concerning gaming and support areas of operations.
  • Promotes ongoing and effective communications with Surveillance Manager and team.
  • Ensures the confidential treatment of all relevant information.
  • Takes appropriate measures to promote the safety and courteous treatment of customers, guests and team members of the property.
  • Stay current with the Company and Departmental policies & procedures, and Nevada State Gaming regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain camera placement, monitors camera coverage, and makes changes where appropriate to ensures optimal coverage of all activities.
  • Ensures accurate and though documentation and reporting of shift activities.
  • Works towards short and long–term departmental goals.
  • Maintains a positive work ethic and promotes a positive environment with team.
  • Answer emergency calls via telephone and communicate such calls with patrol units.
  • May be required to act as dispatcher for responding personnel under certain circumstances.
