  • As a Security Shift Supervisor at Boomtown, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our casino and hotel during your designated shift. You will be tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests, employees, and assets while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.


    Responsibilities:

    - Supervise and lead a team of security personnel during your shift

    - Monitor and patrol the restaurant premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and any other potential security threats

    - Handle any security-related incidents that may occur, including but not limited to, disturbances, accidents, and medical emergencies

    - Conduct regular security inspections to identify and address any security vulnerabilities

    - Train and educate employees on security policies and procedures

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security-related incidents and reports

    - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed

    - Implement and enforce Verdi Grillhouse's safety and security policies


    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred

    - At least 3 years of experience in security management or a related field

    - Must possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations

    - Knowledge of security best practices and procedures

    - Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

  • As a Barback-Day/Swing, you will play an important role in ensuring our bar runs smoothly and our customers have an enjoyable experience. You will work closely with our bartenders and other staff members to keep the bar area clean, organized and well-stocked. Your duties will include:


    - Assisting the bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers. - Keeping the bar area clean by wiping down counters, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash. - Restocking and organizing supplies, such as liquor, mixers, glassware, and garnishes. - Setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after each shift. - Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and taking orders when necessary. To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:


    - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
